I enjoy living at The Mark. The location is superb, only a half block from The Downtown YMCA. My apartment is cozy and the views are very nice. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful always.

*Edit/Timeline Update*
After 11 weeks, the leasing office has moved me back into my apartment so I am updating this review from 1 to 3 stars with an update on the timeline of apartment fixes and accommodations.

I was so pleased with my new apartment at the Mark. Then 2 weeks after moving in, it flooded due to no fault of my own.

I recommend the Mark to people looking for an aesthetically nice building with a good location. But, I wish I had known the process to solve maintenance issues was so problematic and inefficient.

Management was helpful in the flood’s immediate aftermath (as is their legal obligation) but has since been largely silent.

I was moved into a “temporary” apartment that is much smaller than what I signed a lease for. It’s been nearly two months in this smaller apartment while I continue paying rent for my larger, flooded apartment.

They have failed to meet any of the move-in dates — set by them — so I am still unable to return to my original apartment. It has been delayed 3 times and I have received no indication that it’ll be ready any time soon.

I am at a loss. I’ve been incredibly patient and understanding. I want to love this building but it’s very difficult to do.

I will update my review if this problem is solved.

I have lived here about a year and love it. I would recommend this place to anyone. I NEVER hear my neighbors. I live in the floor right below the ballroom that hosts a lot of weddings, and I never hear music or stomping around- the building is really well constructed. Maintenance is quick with their responses. Clear environment.

Great value for living downtown. Approachable and communicative staff. A much more enjoyable experience than the previous buildings we lived in. Will be re-signing and transferring to a bigger unit for another year.

Still love the mark a little over a year later and we are so happy with the renewal offer we have decided to stay. A few thoughts of why we were considering other places.
The AC. You cannot get 100% access to your ac. You can only go to 67 on the cool and sometimes the apartments get REALLY hot. Will need to buy fans. On the flipside in the winter the heater did not work but they had an exceptional response and immediately brought us two heaters.
Lastly the gym is not my favorite but plenty of people use it. I don't enjoy looking at myself in the mirror while working out and thats all it is, mirrors. Alongside theres no water fountain. For the price I do think we should have a water fountain to fill up at.
Lastly the front door lady and gentleman are the nicest human beings ever and can turn pretty much any day into a good one.

Was in the area touring 11 different potential apartments. The Mark wasn't on the list, but we happen to walk by, so we went and checked it out. Even though we didn't have an appointment, Whitney took time out of her busy day and took us on a tour of several apartments. We were so impressed with the building and professionalism that we ended up deciding to go with the Mark. It's in a great location downtown with great views all around. The building is new/clean and the there are many different layouts to chose from. Very happy with the apartment we ended up going with and a big thank you to Whitney for helping us out.

I Am

The sheer fact that an establishment such as the mark does business with a company like Harrington housing is indicative of either negligence or overall lack of care. I leased a room from Harrington housing at the Mark earlier this year and the experience was nothing short of horrendous. From day one it was clear that Harrington housing had "revamped" the apartments from 2 bedrooms in order to accommodate 6 different occupants. 6 people having to share a washer/dryer, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms when I was initially told that I would have 2 roommates. The walls in 2 of the rooms were manmade with staples and cheap almost styrofoam like material. To make matters worse, I witnessed domestic abuse, drug usage and violence amongst my roommates all while trying to work from home. Our dryer was broken on 07/21/23 and still is till this day(12/23/23). The only way to contact Harrington housing is if you'd like to begin a lease, other than that they're impossible to get in touch with, even to pay your own bill. I've never seen a business like Harrington housing and my lawyer doesn't even believe that it's legitimate. When we would go to the front desk the Mark employees would tell us that "there's nothing we can do, you have to contact Harrington housing" but I swear to you that neither I or my 5 roommates or the 4 people in the apartment next to mine were able to contact Harrington housing as we all had urgent needs to be addressed. For months my neighbors toilet has been broken and the contact number available online only allows for you to leave a voicemail. I know that the Mark has nothing to do with Harrington housing, believe me I understand that now. I just can't understand why a great place to live like the Mark would partner with this sort of company. This CANT be the first time you all have gotten this sort of feedback about Harrington housing. I'm writing this to bring awareness to someone that may actually care about the Mark and their brand. Their are dozens of people that share similar experiences on the 15th floor. Thank you, please advise...

I’m so late in leaving this review, but I toured The Mark in October and absolutely fell in love with the apartments that I saw. My husband and I haven’t applied yet as we’re waiting until this summer to do so, but it checked every single one of our boxes. We toured several units with Jordan and she answered each one of our questions, showed us the amenities and common areas and even told us about the history of the building. It is just such an incredible and unique complex. Amenities/common areas were clean, the design choices were modern, neutral and luxe. The location is incredibly convenient and I’m just so excited to live here. Cannot recommend this complex and this staff enough.
